Fin Review
Force Fin Pro, 1998 model

Author: Scott Roberts, 6/1/99

I bought a pair of blue XXL force fin pros to use for cold water diving in the Pacific Northwest. I've always used force fins so I don't have anything to compare them to. I have always felt comfortable using my fins in all conditions. I bought the bungee system, which I would highly recommend. It makes putting them on and taking them off extremely easy. I have never cramped up in them (they claim to cause less cramping). They give me plenty of propulsion. They are smaller than ordinary fins, which makes them easy to pack. They don't seem to wear out at all. I like them because they are different. People like to make fun of them. It's always good for a look or two. Some people hate these fins. Most of them have probably never tried them. I have never regretted buying these fins. I like them a lot. The way they have held up so far, it will probably be the last fin I ever buy. They should include the bungee system as standard on all their fins. The bungees are the difference.
