Curacao is part of the Netherland Antilles, a federation including Bonaire, Saba, St Eustasius and the Dutch part of St Martin.  The island is located in the Southern Caribbean Sea 45 miles (70km) north of Venezuela.  It lies 40 miles (65km) east of Aruba and 30 miles (50km) west of Bonaire. Curacao is 37 miles (60km) long and 5 miles (8km) wide. Limestone Water Resort on Spanish Water bay, one of the nicest spots of Curacao.  It is conveniently located near Curacao's historic center, Willemstad,  which boasts colorful buildings, shops, night life, restaurants, and supermarkets. 

The Curacao Underwater Marine Park with beautiful snorkel and dive spots is just a few minutes away by boat.  Some of the more comfortable beaches with facilities such as: Barbara Beach, Jan Thiel beach and the Sea Aquarium beach are only a few minutes away by car.
