This PADI 5 Star dive shop located just minutes north of Toronto Canada can boast with comfort as being one of the finest dive shops north of the 48th parallel. Having dived most of my life with very little regard for the certification process, I finally entered the realm of getting a formal education. Expecting to find high pressure sales, quickie PADI courses designed to move large quantities of Florida bound flounders through the process and little or no after sales support, I found I was totally wrong. Alex and his team of excellent associates gave me more time and sharing of knowledge than can ever be expected from such a high end business.

I have a lower knee prosthesis which introduces a different set of problems when it comes to buoyancy and suit considerations. This and many other factors (like very cold water diving - Ice Diving, Deep Water and such) were taken into consideration and after a little over a year I am looking at my Dive Master certification. The sport has never been more exciting than now due to their efforts. I have rewarded them (never seems enough) for their constant support and sharing of knowledge with the purchasing of all my equipment and supplemental course even though there are many dive shops in our area due to the proximity of the Great Lakes and the superb wreck diving available here.

The owner Alex Pierce was one of the originals and his history and span of knowledge is a constant delight (not to mention his wonderful sense of humor). He demands the best of his staff and has as mentioned above some of the best pros from around the world working with him.

Competitive pricing, broad product offerings and very knowledgeable staff are the hallmarks of Scuba2000.

I hope the above affirmation is not considered as a simple marketing presentation. I am a very conscientious customer and I have now introduced my 10 year old son into the sport and cannot think of anyone or anywhere else that I would feel more comfortable in doing so than at this shop.
